One Dead, Several Injured in Train Collision North of London Near Bedford
Unfortunately, there is a report of one death and several injuries caused by a collision involving two trains on Friday night in the Bedford area located north of London. According to the statement of the British Transport Police, a major incident occurred when a train from the East Midlands Railway that departed from Corby at 4:40 p.m. crashed into another passenger train from Nottingham, operating as the Luton Airport Express, which left at 3:30 p.m. Both trains had been going in the direction of London St. Pancras. The emergency teams including Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue arrived at the crash site that was notified by locals at 6:45 p.m. The social network videos show the wrecked train still standing on the rails as people were waiting for help in the neighboring field.
